At TLN Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, we believe being part of the community means more than just providing dental care.
We believe in serving, supporting, and giving back to the people and organizations that make our community strong.
Community service is an important part of our practice culture, and we are always grateful for opportunities to support organizations that make a difference in the lives of others. Whether through volunteer work, community events, or outreach programs, we are committed to making a positive impact both inside and outside of our dental offices.
Partnering With Main Street Ministries
During our volunteer day, our team helped work in the Main Street Ministries garden by planting flowers at the entryway to their building and assisting with their food garden. The food garden helps provide fresh produce and resources for individuals and families in need, and we were honored to contribute in a small way to such an important mission.
It was a rewarding day for our team to step away from the office and work together to support an organization that does so much for the community. Opportunities like this remind us how important it is to serve others and give back whenever we can.
Volunteering At The Houston Food Bank
We finished the month by volunteering at the Houston Food Bank, where our team had the privilege of assembling food boxes for senior citizens in the Houston community. Together, we helped assemble 630 food boxes, which provided more than 17,000 meals for seniors in need. This experience was incredibly meaningful for our team and served as a powerful reminder of how important it is to support and care for our community in every way we can.
Back-To-School Health Event With The City Of Houston
Dr. Nickleberry volunteered her time at the City of Houston Mayor’s Back-To-School Drive held at the George R. Brown Convention Center. During this event, she provided dental exams, cleanings, and sealants for children in the community to help them start the school year with healthy smiles.
This event allowed families to receive important preventive dental care and education, helping set students up for a healthy and confident school year. Being able to serve children and families in our community in this way is one of the most meaningful parts of what we do.
Our Commitment To Serving Our Community
Giving back is a core part of our practice culture. Whether we are supporting local schools, volunteering at community events, or helping families in need, we are committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
We are incredibly thankful for our patients and community who continue to support us and allow us to do what we love every day. We look forward to continuing to serve our community both inside and outside of the dental office.
